Setup
Shuffle the deck of 108 cards (sushi dishes: Nigiri, Maki, Tempura, Sashimi, Dumpling, Wasabi, Chopsticks, Pudding). Deal a hand of cards to each player (depending on player count: 2 players = 10 cards, 3 = 9, 4 = 8, 5 = 7). Players keep their hand secret.
How to Play
- The game has 3 rounds. Each round, players simultaneously choose one card from their hand and place it face-down in front of them.
- Then all players reveal their chosen card.
- Pass the remaining hand to the player on the left.
- Repeat until all cards are played.
- Scoring happens at the end of each round: Nigiri (1-3 points), Maki (most rolls = 6 points, second = 3), Tempura (2 cards = 5 points), Sashimi (3 cards = 10 points), Dumpling (1-5 cards = 1,3,6,10,15 points), Wasabi (triples next Nigiri), Chopsticks (lets you take two cards next turn).
- Pudding cards are scored only at the end of round 3: most pudding = 6 points, least = -6 points.
Winning the Game
Add round scores plus pudding bonus/penalty at the end of round 3. The player with the highest total after 3 rounds wins.
