Operation

Place the board showing Cavity Sam (a patient with open body cavities). Each cavity contains a small plastic ailment (e.g., butterflies in stomach, wish bone). Place the tweezers next to the board. Each player gets a set of money bills.

1. On your turn, choose a cavity to operate on.
2. Use the tweezers to remove the ailment from that cavity.
3. Do not touch the metal edges of the cavity — if you do, the buzzer sounds and Cavity Sam's nose lights up.
4. If you touch the edge, you lose your turn and do not collect money for that ailment.
5. If you successfully remove the ailment, collect the money printed on that cavity (e.g., $100).
6. Replace the ailment after removal.
7. The game continues until all ailments have been removed.
8. Players take turns in order.

The player with the most money at the end wins. Different ailments are worth different amounts (e.g., funny bone is $50, butterflies are $200).

Operation: Star Wars has a Darth Vader theme. Operation: Fire Rescue has a firefighting theme.
