Setup

Shuffle the black (question) cards and white (answer) cards separately. Each player draws 10 white cards. Choose a player to be the first Card Czar (judge). The Card Czar draws a black card and reads it aloud.

How to Play

  1. The Card Czar reads the black card (a question or fill-in-the-blank).
  2. All other players choose one white card from their hand that best answers the black card. They pass it face-down to the Card Czar.
  3. The Card Czar shuffles the submitted white cards and reads them aloud (in funny voices optional).
  4. The Card Czar picks the funniest or most appropriate white card and awards it to that player.
  5. That player keeps the black card as a point.
  6. All players draw back up to 10 white cards. The Card Czar rotates to the next player for the next round.

Winning the Game

The first player to collect a certain number of black cards (usually 5 or 7) wins the game. Alternatively, play for a set number of rounds and the player with the most black cards wins.

Variants & House Rules

Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition is tamer. Absurd Box expansion adds new cards.
